Cookie notice
Version 1.0 · Effective 23 October 2026
The short version
feedplumb.com sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. We store a few small settings and a data cache in your browser, which the site needs to work the way you asked, and we use cookieless visitor statistics (see below). That is why there is no cookie banner.
Under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, storing or reading information on your device needs your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (Article 11.7a(3)). The settings and cache listed below fall under that exception. Our visitor statistics fall under the exception for analytics with little or no impact on your privacy (Article 11.7a(3)(b)).
What we store in your browser
These items are stored with your browser's local storage or session storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
feedplumb-theme | Local storage | Remembers the light or dark theme you chose | Until you clear it |
fpc:theme | Local storage | Remembers the theme you chose in the on-chain tools (such as /check) | Until you clear it |
fpc:variant | Local storage | Remembers the display layout you chose in the on-chain tools | Until you clear it |
fpc: followed by a data key | Local storage | Caches public blockchain data the tools just read, so pages load faster and public RPC endpoints are not overloaded. Contains no personal data | Each entry is only reused for a short, fixed time and then read again; stays in storage until you clear it |
fpc:rpcdown | Session storage | Remembers which public RPC endpoints were not responding, for 10 minutes | Until you close the tab |
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page-load speed. A small script from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com) runs on our pages and sends Cloudflare the page you visit, the referring page, your browser and device type and load-timing data. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not use a visitor identifier or fingerprint, and does not follow you across other websites. We only see aggregate figures. Cloudflare processes this data for us under its Data Processing Addendum and does not use it for advertising. You can block the script with any content blocker without affecting the site.
Cloudflare security cookies
Our site is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare can set security cookies (such as __cf_bm, cf_clearance or _cfuvid) to tell people from bots and protect the site against attacks, for example when a security check is shown. We have not switched on Cloudflare features that set these cookies on normal visits, but Cloudflare may set them during an attack or a security challenge. They are strictly necessary for security, are not used for tracking, and last at most 30 minutes (__cf_bm), the browser session (_cfuvid) or the period set for the security check (cf_clearance). See Cloudflare's cookie policy at cloudflare.com/cookie-policy.
How to remove or block them
You can clear local storage, session storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work; it will just forget your theme and layout choice and reload the cached data.
Changes
If we ever add tracking analytics or other cookies that need consent, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
