Terms of use
Version 1.0 · Effective 23 October 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
1.1 feedplumb.com and its tools, APIs and alerts ("the Services") are provided by [to be announced], a Dutch sole proprietorship (KVK [to be announced]). Full details are in the legal notice. "We" and "us" mean [to be announced]; "you" means the person or business using the Services.
1.2 These terms apply to every use of the Services, free or paid. Paid services and credits are also governed by the Terms for paid services and credits. If the two conflict, the paid services terms win for paid services. A signed written agreement with us wins over both.
1.3 We do not accept your own general terms or purchase conditions, unless we agree to them in writing.
2. Business users and consumers
2.1 The Services are made for businesses and professionals. Paid services are for businesses only.
2.2 If you use the free parts of the site as a consumer (a private person acting outside a trade, business, craft or profession), these terms apply to you too, except where mandatory consumer law gives you more rights. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence (Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation (EC) No 593/2008). In particular, the limitations in sections 7.2 to 7.4 apply to consumers only to the extent the law allows.
3. What the Services are
3.1 The Services read public blockchain data (mainly from the XDC Network and Plugin (PLI) oracle contracts) and show, check, index, or alert on that data. Examples are the Oracle Tracker at /check, network statistics, free APIs, DataQuery, webhook notifications and alerts.
3.2 Some Services are marked "Coming soon", "pilot" or "beta". They may be incomplete, may change and may be stopped at any time.
3.3 We may change, add or remove features. We will not remove a paid feature you have already paid for without following the paid services terms.
4. No investment or other advice
4.1 Nothing on the Services is investment, financial, legal, tax, staking or security advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any crypto-asset or other asset.
4.2 A status such as "healthy", "stale" or "deviating" is the result of a technical check against rules we publish. It is not an opinion on the quality or value of a project, token or provider.
4.3 You make your own decisions. Check important data at the source before you rely on it.
5. Accuracy of on-chain and oracle data
5.1 We show data from public blockchains, oracle contracts, public RPC endpoints and other third-party sources we do not control. That data can be wrong, late, incomplete, manipulated or unavailable. Blockchains can reorganise. Oracles can stop updating or report wrong prices.
5.2 We show data "as is" and "as available". We try to show the source and time of each value, but we do not guarantee that any data, check, alert or history is correct, complete, current or uninterrupted.
5.3 Do not use the Services as the only source for automated trading, liquidations, settlement, pricing of contracts or other decisions where an error could cause loss. If you do, you do so at your own risk.
5.4 Alerts and notifications may arrive late, more than once or not at all. They do not replace your own monitoring.
6. Acceptable use
6.1 You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights through the Services;
- overload, attack, probe or bypass the security, rate limits or access controls of the Services;
- scrape or bulk-download the Services beyond normal use or published limits, or resell, re-host or mirror them without our written consent;
- share your API keys, or use someone else's;
- give false business details;
- use the Services to build a competing data product from our indexed data, or to train a model on it, without our written consent;
- send us webhook URLs or other targets that you are not allowed to use;
- use the Services in a way that breaches EU, Dutch, UN or other applicable sanctions, or use them if you are, or act for, a sanctioned person or are located in a sanctioned country or region.
6.2 We may limit, suspend or end access, block keys or remove content if we reasonably believe you breach these terms or the law, or to protect the Services or others. Where we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.
7. Liability
7.1 We are liable only for direct damage caused by our failure to perform these terms.
7.2 Our total liability per year, for all claims together, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage, with a maximum of [to be announced]. For free Services, our liability is limited to [to be announced].
7.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, trading losses, liquidations, business interruption or reputational damage.
7.4 We are not liable for damage caused by blockchains, oracles, RPC providers, bridges, wallets, exchanges, hosting providers or other third parties, or by data that comes from them.
7.5 These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent (opzet) or deliberate recklessness (bewuste roekeloosheid), or to the extent mandatory law does not allow them.
7.6 You must report a claim in writing within 30 days after you discovered, or should have discovered, the damage. For business users, any claim against us ends 12 months after the event that caused it.
7.7 If you are a business user, you indemnify us against third-party claims caused by your breach of these terms or by your use of the Services.
8. Intellectual property
8.1 We (or our licensors) own the intellectual property rights in the Services, the site, our software, texts, designs, checks and the databases we build. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services under these terms.
8.2 Public blockchain data itself is not ours. Our selection, structure, history and computed results are.
8.3 You may quote or show small amounts of our output (for example a feed status or a chart) with a clear reference to FeedPlumb and a link to the source page. Larger use needs our written consent.
8.4 Open-source parts are licensed under the licence shipped with them; that licence wins for those parts.
8.5 If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.
9. Privacy and cookies
How we use personal data is in our privacy notice. Browser storage is explained in our cookie notice.
10. Availability and changes to the Services
We do not promise any uptime or response time unless a signed agreement or a paid plan says so. We may carry out maintenance, which can interrupt the Services.
11. Changes to these terms
11.1 We may change these terms. We publish the new version on this page with a new version number and effective date.
11.2 For paid services and registered accounts, we tell you about material changes by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Services before that date; the paid services terms explain what happens to unused credits. If you keep using the Services after the date, the new terms apply.
11.3 Changes needed for legal reasons or for security can take effect sooner.
12. Law and courts
12.1 Dutch law applies. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
12.2 For business users, disputes go exclusively to the competent court in [to be announced], the Netherlands.
12.3 If you are a consumer, you can also bring a case in the courts of your country of residence, and you keep the protection of the mandatory law of that country.
12.4 If a provision is invalid, the rest stays in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that comes as close as possible to its purpose.
