Terms for paid services and credits
Version 1.0 · Effective 23 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy anything from [to be announced] ("we"), including credits, DataQuery access, pay-per-request API access, the alerts pilot and EventHook. Our terms of use also apply. If they conflict, these terms win for paid services.
1. Business customers only
1.1 Paid services are only for businesses and professionals. When you order, you confirm that you act for a business, trade or profession and not as a consumer.
1.2 Before we activate a paid service, you give us your business's legal name, address, country and a registration number (KVK, VAT or foreign company number). We may check these details, including VAT numbers in the EU VIES system. We may refuse or end an account if the details are wrong or cannot be checked.
1.3 Because paid services are business-to-business, consumer rules such as the 14-day right of withdrawal do not apply.
2. Prices, invoices and VAT
2.1 Prices are in euros (EUR) and exclude VAT, unless stated otherwise. The price that applies is the one shown when you order or in our written quote.
2.2 We send an invoice in EUR for every purchase and for every monthly pay-per-request period.
2.3 VAT:
- Netherlands-based customers pay Dutch VAT.
- Customers in another EU country with a valid VAT number: VAT is reverse-charged; you account for it (Article 196 of the VAT Directive 2006/112/EC). The invoice says "reverse charge" ("btw verlegd").
- Customers outside the EU: no Dutch VAT, unless the law says otherwise.
2.4 Invoices are payable within 14 days unless the invoice says otherwise. If you pay late, statutory commercial interest applies (Article 6:119a of the Dutch Civil Code) and we may suspend the service after a reminder.
3. How you can pay
3.1 We accept payment in EUR by bank transfer [to be announced], and, where offered at checkout, in USDC or PLI. The EUR price is always the price. A crypto payment is only a way to pay that EUR amount.
3.2 For a crypto payment we show a quote: the EUR amount, the asset, the network, our receiving address and the amount of the asset, converted at the rate from [to be announced] at the time of payment. The quote is valid for the time shown. If you pay after it expires, we convert at the rate on the moment we receive the payment.
3.3 You must pay from a wallet you control, on the network shown, to the address shown. Payments to a wrong address or network may be lost; we cannot reverse blockchain transactions. A payment counts as received after [to be announced] block confirmations.
3.4 If you pay too little, we ask you to pay the difference before we deliver. If you pay too much, we return the excess in the same asset to the sending address, minus network fees, or credit it to your next invoice if you ask.
3.5 We do not hold crypto-assets or money for you. Crypto we receive is payment for our own services and becomes ours. We do not exchange, transfer or hold crypto-assets for customers, and there is no refundable crypto balance.
4. Credits
4.1 Some services are paid with prepaid credits. Each credit has a fixed EUR value, shown at purchase. Each request uses the number of credits shown in our price list. Failed requests caused by us use no credits.
4.2 Credits:
- can only be used for our own services;
- have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, crypto-assets or anything else;
- are not electronic money, not a crypto-asset and not a deposit;
- are recorded only in our own system, not on a blockchain;
- are linked to your business account and cannot be transferred, sold or shared;
- are non-refundable, except in section 4.5.
4.3 VAT on credits is charged when you buy them, at the rate that applies to your situation at that moment (Article 65 of the VAT Directive; credits are a single-purpose voucher in the sense of Articles 30a and 30b). No VAT is charged again when you use them.
4.4 Credits expire [to be announced] after the date of purchase. Expired credits are lost without refund. We use the oldest credits first.
4.5 If we discontinue a service for which you hold unused credits, and you cannot use those credits for another of our services, we refund the unused credits pro rata: the share of unused credits multiplied by the price you paid. We refund in EUR by bank transfer, or, if you paid in USDC or PLI, the same share of the amount of that asset we received, to the address you paid from. We give at least 30 days' notice before we discontinue a paid service.
4.6 If we close your account because you broke our terms, or you close it yourself, unused credits are forfeited, except where section 4.5 applies.
5. DataQuery
5.1 DataQuery gives API access to our indexed feed history and token data, paid with credits. Access is by API key. We issue keys only to registered business customers.
5.2 Keep your API key secret. You are responsible for all use of your key until you ask us to block it. Tell us at once at [to be announced] if a key may be compromised.
5.3 Some data may be withheld, limited or removed, for example where third-party rights or data quality require it. History length is as stated in the documentation.
5.4 Monthly add-ons or plans run per calendar month and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel before the next month starts. We do not prorate or refund a month that has started.
6. Pay-per-request API access (x402)
6.1 Some APIs can be paid per request using the x402 protocol. This is only available with an API key registered to your business. Requests without a registered key are not served.
6.2 Each paid request is recorded against your API key with the price, time and payment reference. After each month we send an invoice that summarises that month's paid requests per key, with VAT treatment as in section 2.3. The invoice is the tax document for those payments.
6.3 Prices per request are shown in the API's payment response and in our price list. A request is final once paid. Requests that fail on our side are not charged.
6.4 Section 3 (crypto payments) applies to x402 payments.
7. Alerts pilot
7.1 Our alerts (such as FeedHealth and NodeAlert) are offered as a pilot (beta). Plans, features, prices and limits may change, and we may end the pilot at any time, with at least 30 days' notice for paid plans.
7.2 There is no service level and no guaranteed delivery time. Alerts can be late, duplicated or missed. Keep your own monitoring.
7.3 Plans are billed per month. If the pilot ends during a paid month, we refund the unused part of that month pro rata.
7.4 You choose who gets alerts. You confirm that you may send alerts to the e-mail addresses and webhook URLs you give us. Every alert e-mail has an unsubscribe link.
8. EventHook
8.1 EventHook sends XDC contract events to your HTTPS endpoint as signed webhooks. Like all paid services, it is only for business customers (section 1).
8.2 Plans and prices are shown on our EventHook page: Dev (free), Builder (EUR 19 per month or EUR 190 per year), Team (EUR 79 per month or EUR 790 per year) and Custom (price on request). Prices exclude VAT. VAT is charged or reverse-charged as set out in section 2.3.
8.3 You choose a monthly or a yearly billing period. Your plan runs for that period and then renews automatically for the same period, until you cancel. We invoice at the start of each period. For a yearly plan, we e-mail you at least 30 days before it renews, with the renewal date, the price and how to cancel.
8.4 You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then. We do not refund the current period, except that we refund the unused part pro rata if we discontinue EventHook or materially reduce it during that period.
8.5 Delivery is best effort. We send each event after the number of confirmations, and retry failed deliveries as often, as stated in our documentation. Deliveries can be late, duplicated or missed; de-duplicate them and keep your own checks. There is no service level unless we agree one in writing.
8.6 You are responsible for your endpoint, including its availability and security, and for keeping your API key and webhook signing secret confidential. Section 5.2 applies to them. We only send to public HTTPS endpoints.
8.7 Each plan has the limits shown on the EventHook page (subscriptions, events per day and API requests per minute). Use must stay within these limits and be fair. We may slow down or hold back traffic above them.
8.8 We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail. A new price applies from your next period, not to a period you have already paid for. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the next period starts.
8.9 We may suspend EventHook at once if you abuse it, for example by overloading our systems or third parties, sending deliveries to endpoints you may not use, or breaking the law or our terms. Section 10.2 applies to ending the service.
9. Acceptance and complaints
9.1 Tell us about any problem with a paid service or invoice within 30 days, at [to be announced]. We will look into it and, if we were at fault, fix it or credit you.
9.2 A complaint does not suspend your duty to pay the undisputed part of an invoice.
10. Ending a paid service
10.1 You can stop using a paid service at any time. Monthly plans end at the end of the month in which you cancel. EventHook plans end as set out in section 8.4.
10.2 We can end a paid service with 30 days' notice, or at once if you seriously breach these terms or the terms of use, do not pay after a reminder, or if the law or a sanction requires it.
11. Accepting these terms
You accept these terms when you place an order or use a paid service. We ask you to confirm this at checkout.
